[REVIEW] Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 - Mango

By Kristine Lam - March 26, 2012

Kiehl's was introduced to me by a dear friend a few years back. I was told that their lip balm is amazing for dry, chapped lips. The climate is very dry in Vancouver, althought it tends to rain a LOT ;3; ... not sure how that works!

Anyway, they used to sell them in a larger 20-25ml or so jar format. Now it's only available in 15ml for both the tube and jar size.

It's a pricey lip balm compared to your typical $3 drugstore chapstick. It retails around $9-11 depending on which scent/type you buy. They have one with SPF 15 for $12.
Though it is a bit pricey, I love it because it works wonders for my chapped lips. Ever since I started using it, dry lips became less of a problem :) !

It comes in a variety of scents. Their original is unscented, which many people love just for that fact. I personally love their mint and new mango scent! I gave the pear a whiff on my trip to their store 2 weeks ago but decided with the sweeter mango scent :3

Customer service at Kiehl's is always great. Although the store always seems to be quite busy, they attend to you relatively quickly. I didn't need much help anyway as I just go straight for the lipbalm and cash register :B The sales kindly asked if I wanted any samples with my purchase. I believe they offer everyone samples (?) as I remember getting some with my first purchase as well. Not 100% sure on that though.

I opted for the hydration samples as opposed to anti aging because...BECAUSE I'M STILL YOUNG ;3; /indirectly offended.

Have yet to try them out - will share my experience with these products once I get around to them!
