[REVIEW] Moroccan Oil Treatment

By Kristine Lam - July 09, 2012

I know everyone has been raving over this product forever! I finally finished my biosilk treatment so I picked this up.

And I am here to tell everyone

The product REALLY lives up to its hype. It does have quite a steep price though (maybe because I bought the smaller size) This 25ml was $17.00 CAD - ouch right :\

The larger size has the triple amount or so and goes for around $50 after tax I think? I will DEFINITELY grab the larger size after I'm done with this. It also comes in a pump bottle design instead of a regular bottle.

I have super thick and frizzy, heat and color damaged hair. A dime size amount of the oil will completely tame it down and leave my hair ridiculously smooth. I only apply it to the ends so it won't get too greasy and weight my hair down. Apply onto wet/damp hair then blow dry for lovely hair :D

I know there's a lot of talk about how this product has certain ingredients that are bad for your hair and organic moroccan oil is much better bleh bleh bleh. But meh honestly, call me ignorant or something but if this is helping my hair this much - whatever right :\
The pros weigh out the cons (which aren't visible atm anyway)

Nothing has been able to tame out my frizzy poofy hair except straight perms. This product is perfect for me.I've started using clarifying shampoo once every week and applying this treatment after is even more effective!

Overall - 4.5/5
0.5 because of the hefty price, but def worth every penny!

  1. Thanks to share great post.

  2. Moroccanoil is my holy grail product. I use it almost every day especially when blowdrying my hair as it quickens up the process – does anyone else find this? I think Hairtrade.com is the cheapest place you can get it at the moment – here’s the link if anyone wants it. I also find it good to use on my extensions too x
