[REVIEW] Ipsy Bag Canada December 2012

I've blogged about Glossybox a while back - one of the many sample boxes that are out there. After getting a few boxes from them and Glymm, I honestly lost my faith in sample boxes :\...I quickly unsubscribed after getting 2 consecutive boxes full of drugstore products like biore cleansers - like really? :S

HOWEVER - I stumbled upon Ipsy bag in November where they promised a sample size of Benefit's They're Real mascara so I quicky subscribed (mainly just for the mascara LOLOL)!

I was pleasantly surprised with this month's package!
Products in this month's bag:

Have this in full size and also in black - love it! This came just in time as my old one is running out!

2. NYX Loose Pearl Powder
I got mine in a nice pink pearl color. Great to use as inner corner highlights. Love love!

3. Be a bombshell - Lipgloss in Hot Mess
First red lipgloss ever owned and it's not as crazy as it looks in the tube. I cringed a little but as soon as I put it on I was in love with the color! It's not suuuuuper bold but does make your lips pop :D

Quick OOTD insert - wearing a very popular piece from Trinity Styles - Ingni Fur Collar + Sweater Set. The collar is soooooooo softttt /rubs face in it/ ... oh and I also dyed my hair SUPER dark if you haven't noticed ;-;

4. Mai Couture Highlighter Papier
Interesting product - oil paper like highlighter. It's a bronzey gold highlighter. Haven't tried this out yet but its made mainly for those that travel or don't have space in their bag for a blush :)

5. Mirabella - Primer for face and eyes
Just tried this out today. This is a silicone based oil free primer that is clear and applies very smoothly. I applied this super sparingly because I'm not sure how my skin likes silicone and because it's quite thick in texture. No problems so far and helped foundation go on nicely - thumbs up for now but I'm not an avid user of primers so I probably wouldn't buy this.

And to end the post .. since it is NYE - happy new year to all - all the best in the coming days and stay warm!
