Sorry about the lack of posts ;-; .. chaos took over for the last few weeks again with the reopening of the store + organizing new spring items + school but I'm back with some bits and pieces of reviews and shopping + fud hunting.
On Valentines Day, I finally went to Miku Restaurant in downtown. I've been dying to try their sushi since I first saw people posting photos on facebook from Dine out last year!
Fud porn time.
The decor and service were both wonderful. Needless to say, the food was absolutely delicious! Their sushi are mostly paired with their own sauce so there is no need for soy sauce. We ordered the premium sushi selection and it was SOOOOOOOOO GOOD ;u; every piece was unique and even the mundane ebi sushi was amazingly delicious. Definitely worth the money. I also had the sakagura ume shu which was a very refreshing plum sake. Great to pair with dessert!
On to shopping...
I ventured downtown with my friends a few weeks ago for some highly anticipated shopping at Topshop. Their charlotte olympia inspired boots were on sale from $138 to $70 - I was super tempted but decided to pass in the end since they were a little damaged ;_____; ... I think it was just me being too picky.
I did ended up picking up a lipstick from their designer collab line by Louise Gray in the shade Legend. This is a close shade to what Yoon Eun Hye is wearing in the drama Miss You. The original shade from Nars still seems to be sold out everywhere!
I guess I was disappointed about not hurting my wallet that day or something...and ended up splurging on a bunch of cosmetics at London Drugs after returning from downtown -_-
I haven't been to London Drugs in FOREVER and it just so happened that they were having huge sales on a lot of their make up and cosmetics! I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they carried NYX products now. I have been wanting to try out their jumbo eye pencils for the longest time so I picked up the popular cottage cheese and strawberry milk. More detailed post on all this stuff in another post but I've been loving everything I bought here!
