[Nails] Vintage Floral, Polka Dots and Daisies!
My power went out for the 5th time in the last 4 months two days ago -_____- .. and out of boredom I decided to pain my nails and test out the polishes I recently bought.
Despite the horrible weather Vancouver has been having for the last few days, I wanted to do some spring themed nails to counter it! I left my essie sticker on because it STILL hasn't chipped/peeled off :O
Products used:
1. Essie Base Coat - grow faster
2. Essie Top Coat - good to go (dries your nails in 30-45 seconds, super recommended!)
3. Coral Orange - Revlon Brilliant Strength 220 Provoke (base color + base for flowers)
4. Mint Green - China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint (for the leaves)
5. White - Revlon Top Speed 335 Spirit (base color + dots)
6. Hot Pink - Revlon Colorstay 050 Passionate Pink (outline + details for flower)
For the large flowers, I used a toothpick to create the outline for petals and the leaves as well. The daisies I created using a dotting tool. This design is very simple and easy to do even with your bad hand because nothing really has to be all that neat!
The photos were taken on day 3 and still no chipping so far. Quite unusual since polishes usually start chipping on day 1 for me ;_; lolol
Speaking of nail products, I ordered the innisfree peel off base coat from eBay a few days ago. It's a base coat that makes removing glitter polishes super easy. Can't wait til it arrives. Will do another post on that as soon as I get it in my hands!
If you haven't heard of this product at all, check it out here!
