Etude House August Pink Bird Box
It's that time of the month again! Etude House's Pink Bird Box gets better every time. This month's box features their new Pink Skull collection. I am in love with their packaging for this! The black and metallic pink works together like a dream.
They have also recently repackaged their popular Moistful Collagen line with a collaboration with Disney's Dumbo! Just look at that sheet mask! I've been a long time user of their Moistful Collagen Cream and it now comes in this HUGE 110ml tub! It's very moisturizing and perfect for the dry winter months here in Canada. Ideal for those with combination to dry skin.
The twin shot lip tint in RD304 is definitely a unique one. On one end it's a bright pink matte tint and on the other it's a black and purple glitter gloss! I was very curious to see what this would be like used together.
I'm personally not a huge fan of shiny glosses but the lip tint on it's own looks gorgeous! The color becomes slightly darker/berry tone after being layered on top.
I received the Pink Skull Color Eyes palette in PK001. There's a lot of interesting shades that you don't normally see - like the mustard yellow and taupe-y brown! Unfortunately, most of the matte shades aren't that pigmented (specifically the pinks and the yellow). The shimmer shades however are very pigmented - just like most of Etude House's eye shadows!
I swatched these from top to bottom, left to right. Starting from the very left side of my arm would be the lightest shade on the first row.
Last but not least, the very popular Play 101 Contour Stick! This two in one product came in handy for me when I was on vacation. The contour shade is a medium tone brown that blends very easily. I use this to contour my nose and it works wonders. The highlight shade is quite light so it may not work for those with slightly darker skin. I usually use the lightest (N21 for Iope cushions etc) shade for Korean base products and this is a good shade for me.
That's it for this month's Pink Bird box - hope you found something you like from Etude House's new collection and repackaged best selling products!
