Pur~lisse Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Cleansing Milk
Moisturizing cleansing milks are my favourite type of cleansers when it comes to the dry, harsh winter season here in Canada. This Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Cleansing Milk by Pur~lisse is a new discovery for me and I've been using it routinely for the last few weeks. It features Blue Lotus Extract which is known for it's anti oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits - perfect for sensitive skin. It is also soap and sulfate free so it leaves your skin feeling clean yet soothed after!
If you aren't familiar with Pur~lisse already, they are a skincare brand that embraces the philosophy of using Asian beauty knowledge in combination with French cosmeceuticals. Their products are free of parabens, petrochemicals, synthetic color/fragrance, GMOs, sulfates and phthalates!
I love using this gentle cleansing milk as the second step in my cleansing routine after removing eye make up (I use a lot of waterproof eye products!). I even use this as a single step cleanser if I haven't been wearing any make up/very minimal make up (ie. tinted moisturizer only, concealer only etc)
Here's a demonstration of it's cleansing power on (left to right) eye shadow, waterproof mascara, waterproof eye liner and basic foundation.
The eyeshadow and foundation comes off effortlessly but the waterproof formulas need a bit of extra help. I love how soft and moisturized my skin feels after using this! I always double cleanse regardless just to make sure there's no make up residue left. If you're feeling lazy, you could even skip double cleansing if you're not wearing a heavy base/been wearing make up for a long period of time.
I hope this post was helpful and if you are interested in the cleanser, you can check it out at Pur~lisse here!
